Stroke Rehabilitation Centre
Donald Wilson House, Chichester, NHS Trust
Hospital Stroke Rehabilitation Centre in Chichester was challenged to meet the highest level of energy efficient building targets; design includes Sedum (grass) roof, naturally ventilated, underfloor heating with high efficiency condensing boiler technology, solar panel hot water generation, grey water via well supplies and full generator backup facilities.
The existing Donald Wilson House was a Stroke Rehabilitation Centre recognised as a World Renowned Facility offering the highest levels of medical care.
A new state of the art facility was required to meet the continued demand for this specialist service and provide improved facilities for the future.
