Centenary Quay Offices and Boat Fabrication Facility

Client: Palmer Johnson (USA)Architect: TPA ArchitectsProject Value: £22 Million capital expenditure

Palmer Johnson design and build Super Yachts up to 100m in length.

To meet their continued success they have committed to building a new boat fabrication facility in the UK and identified Southampton as their preferred location. The development consists of two buildings; the fabrication building to construct the hull of each yacht in aluminium or steel. The hull is then moved to the ‘Fit Out’ building which includes finishing and paint spraying.

With such facilities there are requirements for many specialist services including dust extraction, compressed air and VRF systems to offices. Workshops and offices are provided with supply and extract systems. Paint Spray booth is 100m long and provided with a dedicated supply and extract ventilation system.
